The iPad camera is really crap. No wonder Instagram is so popular! I’m a little bummed that the inherent crappiness isn’t embraced, and we cover it up with nostalgic crappiness that’s more palatable to 40-somethings.
In 30 years the fingernail-phones will have algorithms that recast the 40gb super-res images as high-contrast but flaccid iPhone images to remind people of their childhoods.
